In January, the classmate organizing our Graduation Prom Evening asked if I could make an invitation with the themes of 'starry starry night' and a city skyline, so I did this. But it wasn't used because it wasn't formal enough.
Here is also a poster I was asked to make for a charity talent show. I quite liked this one (but in the end it was never printed either ): )

april showers and a jester
Just my rough sketch for the current Golden Sun fanart contest over at the club on DA. Theme is "April showers may bring May flowers". Good grief, I hate abstract topics like that! But did finally come up with something cute, I think XDAnd here is a random jester named 'Baby Coconut', referenced from a photo of some Santa Claus elf that was on the newspaper.

Evergreen music video
Holy cow. This is such a stunning piece, both as a music video and an animation.
This is the sort of thing that sends chills down my spine, and makes me just dizzy with admiration.

ain't got a whole lotta money~
Lately I've been interested in playing with using words to make pictures.
Here's something I did on the back of my diary a while ago. Lyrics are from "Reasons Why" by Nickel Creek. And here's a sketchbook page from today; These are from "Happiness" by Orson:At the bottom there's Kyle btw, my swollen-lipped thief!
This is a new hobby for me. I'll need to push these a whole lot more, I think...

life sketches, birds and CRACKers
I have quite a bit of art to post today!
On Friday we went to Tung Ping Chau. I sketched people on the boat.
Not very much likeness in these, but I suppose I was aiming just to practice drawing the gestures/expressions quickly in ink, not really trying to copy their features.
Why are there so many more males? There are a number of reasons.
1) Guys have more of a tendency to sit still.
2) If I get caught by the person I'm drawing, I don't need to worry about drawing them ~*prettyfully*~.
3) Guys don't even notice that I'm looking at them! XD
Anyways! I decided I want to design a new gryphon character. Just toying with the bird half here. And finally, here is a silly doodle Squish and I did last week!

dog, cat, dog.
Felt in the mood for some cartoons today.
Moo-chan's Mono as an EXPLORER.Parody of Catdog with me and Kitty's fursonas. XD The comparison's pretty much perfect, right down to our personalities. I was a Cartoon Network junkie, so I never really watched this show, but I remember seeing a couple of episodes.
Oh, yeah, this was for our joint account on Deviantart. We're completing the 100 themes art challenge together!

sketch swap
I found Sketch Swap today - it's a fun site where you draw into the application, and swap your drawing to get one by someone else. Spent a while doodling on there:
And here are some nice sketches I received!

talent instantly recognizes genius
Here is a fun meme taken from this blog.
Photo from parachutgirl.
1. The first article title on the Wikipedia Random Articles page is the name of your band.So this is what my album cover would look like, if only I were a talented musician!
2. The last four words of the very last quotation on the Random Quotations page is the title of your album.
3. The third picture in Flickr's Interesting Photos From The Last 7 Days is your album cover.

New hyksi characters
Here's a couple of characters I designed today! They're hyksis from the Ryvarda world, which are sort of like a cross between deer, weasels and rabbits.
Bean is Sweet Pea's childhood friend. He's also Sweet Pea's unofficial sidekick, servant, henchman, human hyksi shield, scapegoat and footrest. No, I'm kidding about that last one.
