Well, I just had my first week back at school! It was a surprisingly short week - I'm going to savor these first few weeks and pump out my creative energy, since once the assignments start piling on it'll be incredibly hard to take a breather! XD
We have a new art teacher this year. Our homework was to introduce ourselves using visual means, in 1-2 pages.
In other news, I've been planning on signing up for a table at HomeRun Boogie - it's an Ookiku Furikabutte ONLY doujinshi event! It'll be my first time doing something like that.. I think it would be a great experience, and it's definitely affordable. Besides, I really don't draw enough Oofuri fanart. XD
So, I've got a couple of vague ideas floating around for doujinshi which I need to figure out. Here are a couple of drawings to work out the drawing style I'll be using.

Comic World 26
EeeEEEEeeee I'm so happy! :D I went to Comic World today - It's a bi-annual doujinshi event in Hong Kong. This is my second time going. My first time at the event was Comic World 24 a year ago.
I thought this year's art was of a higher quality, (and I almost spent all my money XD) and the con was also organized better in general. Last year I stood in line for 2 hours outside the building to get in, (such is Hong Kong...) and this year the outside wait was only 10 minutes. The rest of the wait, about 30 minutes, was inside the air-conditioned building, which wasn't so bad. Part of the reason may be because I came a lot earlier this year.
And now, time to pimp the stuff I bought! :D
Badges! I lovelovelove collecting these things, they are usually cheap, and they take up a small space. I got a lot of cute ones this time around... (look! It's a Tamaki!) they will be added to my current collection. :D Maybe I'll post some pictures of my other badges when my collection is a decent size.
Some pretty postcards and bookmarks. The one in the bottom left is by Ippus, whom I met and talked to briefly :D She signed the back of the card for me!
LOOK AT THIS GORGEOUS ART. <333And finally, a lovely Code Geass (SQUEEEE) poster that came with the doujinshi. Those Homerun Boogie flyers were all over the place. I can't wait to go, now!
That is all for this year's Comic World! :D I will definitely try to go to the next one in a few months.
