Started another piece for school - still building on the theme of family dynamics. The old man is the little girl's father - I'm trying to show that melancholy feeling you get from watching your parents grow old.
Aww this makes me sad. It's a great illustration. It's the exaggeration that gets me.The subtle colors are a nice touch. It makes me wonder what it's like to be born to older parents- like 50+. My mother was 35 when she had me. My sister had a baby at 16. Make's me wonder what perspectives others had growing up.
