Hello from Vancouver! I am here for this week, for my spring break.Went to Granville Island today (IlovethatplaceSOmuch) and was totally captivated by all the vintage scrapbooky stuff there. Was inspired to try and emulate some of the stuff there. Drew this cardinal, slapped it on a wallpaper from cgtextures, tried my best to write in an artsy manner, and just played around with it. The effects are from the Photobucket image editor XD It's surprisingly useful! Anyway, I can't tell if these images are of horrible quality or if it's just the screen on this computer. Apologies if they are fuzzy.

we used shit colors,

These turned out exceptionally well!
i love it! lol cardinals are my state's bird. but i love how artsy it is. the texture works really well with the picture. and even if the writing isn't artsy it's really spontaneous and i love it. it looks like all the notes i write down on napkins haha. but it's all good.
my favorite one from the four at the bottom is the one that's dark navy. it has a really creepy feel. love it.
